System Analysis
Before an IT system can be introduced, changed or extended, careful consideration is necessary of its business need and use conditions. At this point, independent advice is invaluable that comprises the business value of the IT system up to the advice for design, acquisition or development of the system. System or functional analysis is about defining what the IT system should do, rather than how this is done. It includes the investigation of the business and user requirements that may include fact finding techniques where all prospective users of the system will have to contribute to the definition of the requirements, which are then summarised using a requirements specification and possibly diagramming methods. Communication between people of different background and context and intermediation between different uses of language constitutes a particular challenge. Our clients can benefit from our experience and competence in the definition and analysis of IT systems.
We favour the use of UML (Unified Modelling Language) and corresponding tools to define the functionality of the system in use case diagrams. UML is a widely used standard and we offer training courses for the use of UML.
Based on the system analysis, we would be able to develop web sites based on standards and open source tools using HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Python along with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, or in using higher level content management systems such as Joomla! or Drupal. Instead, we can also partner with IT development companies in Bulgaria or other countries for the development of the system.
